2021/7/4 Test roast feedback
Hello Everyone at Craftsmith.
I finally had the chance to do a test roast with the Craft 12. I decided to do an analogue roast (without the use of Artisan) because I wanted to match the experience of roasting with the Craft 12 with the experience of roasting with the all manual Huky 500. The results were fantastic. The performance of the Craft 12 was flawless, as all elements of the machine worked perfectly well. Here is a bit of information about the roasts.
1. Benguet province, Tublay municipality, 1583 m AMSL, Arabica, washed process, 1 kg
Charge temp: 190C
Gas pressure: 0.7
Exhaust air pressure: 50
First Crack (FC) temp: 200C
FC time: 11:30
End of Roast (EOR) temp: 211C
EOR time: 13:00
2. Benguet Province, Happy Hollow village, 1450 m AMSL, Arabica, honey process, 1 kg
Charge temp: 190C
Gas pressure: 0.7
Exhaust air pressure: 50
FC temp: 198C
FC time: 11:30
EOR temp: 206C
EOR time: 13:00
